Vice President of Philanthropy, Alpha Chi Omega, 2020
Alpha Chi Omega's national altruism is Domestic Violence Awareness and Sexual Assault Awareness.
As the Vice President of Philanthropy, one of my responsibilities was to plan fundraising events benefitting our local domestic violence shelter, SafeHaven of Tarrant County, and the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation.

Community Engagement Week was a week long, online fundraiser that generated over $11,000 in profits that were donated to domestic violence shelter, SafeHaven of Tarrant County. By targeting donations of small amounts, partnering with local businesses, and working alongside SafeHaven, this event surpassed fundraising goals - generating over a thousand dollars a day!
Honky Tonk
Alpha Chi Omega's First Ever Honky Tonk was planned for March 27th, 2020. Unfortunately, the event was canceled due to COVID-19 just after ticket sales went live. Intended to "Give Domestic Violence the Boot", this event was sure to be a rootin' tootin', boot scootin' good time! Through the generous donations of supporters, the event still managed to generate over $1,000 to support our beneficiaries.

Still needing to abide by Covid-19 restrictions, Alpha Chi Omega took their Spring event outdoors to host a Drive-Thru Donation Drive. The event was hosted on March 27th, 2021, a few weeks after freezing temperatures caused a major plumbing problem at SafeHaven which destroyed a large quantity of Immediate Needs Donations. In my role as Sponsor Outreach Coordinator we were able to generate $1,700. I also served as Operations Chair for the event and organized the scheduling of members and jobs.
Recruitment Day 2 Chair
I designed these 4'x8' graphics for boards that were displayed during Philanthropy Day of Primary Recruitment and Casino Night to highlight Alpha Chi Omega's commitment to Domestic Violence Awareness. As a Day Chair for recruitment my responsibility was to design the look and feel of the room to educate and inspire an appreciation and understanding of Alpha Chi Omega and Domestic Violence Awareness.
